Biography
Uma Govind is a rare artist whose credentials span both the government's highest artistic recognitions and the country's most prestigious cultural platforms. Empanelled with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), she has represented Indian classical arts on international stages. As a Doordarshan A-Grade artiste and SPICMACAY faculty, she brings both institutional depth and an intimate, guru-shishya sensitivity to her teaching.
